# wow.olibuijr.com > Private WotLK realm (AzerothCore, 3.3.5a build 12340), friends and family only. > This file is the install guide for humans and AI agents. The only download is the > WoW OLIBUIJR Client Kit (realmlist + installers, a few KB). It does NOT contain the game: > you need your own World of Warcraft 3.3.5a (build 12340) client folder. ## Realm facts - Realm name: AzerothCore. Core: AzerothCore master, WotLK 3.3.5a (client build 12340). - Login server: wow.olibuijr.com:3724 (TCP). World server: wow.olibuijr.com:8085 (TCP). - Client data: stock 3.3.5a. No custom patch-*.MPQ is needed. - Accounts are created by the admin. Ask for a username and password. - Agents: never download a game client from the internet. Use the folder the owner gives you. ## Downloads - WoW OLIBUIJR Client Kit: https://wow.olibuijr.com/downloads/wow-olibuijr-client-kit.zip Contents: README.txt, realmlist.wtf, install-linux.sh, install-macos.sh, install-windows.bat ## Android: play without installing WoW (streaming app) - APK: https://wow.olibuijr.com/downloads/wow-olibuijr.apk ("WoW OLIBUIJR", Android 10+, arm64) - Streams the game from the owner's PC with low latency (hardware H.264 decode, UDP, peer-to-peer through NAT, relay fallback). Works on home Wi-Fi and on mobile data / other networks. - Install: allow "install unknown apps" for the browser, open the APK. First run asks for host (keep the default `lan.wow.olibuijr.com, wow.olibuijr.com`), user and password (ask the admin). - Controls: stick = mouse (toggle to WASD above it), L/R = mouse buttons (hold R + stick = mouselook), Jump, Tab, 1-6, More (7-0, bags, map, ...), Esc, Kbd = keyboard. Tap = click, two-finger drag = look, pinch = zoom. HUD shows path (LAN / P2P / RELAY) and RTT. ## Check the client first (all platforms) The client folder must contain `Wow.exe` and `Data/` with a locale folder such as `Data/enUS/`. `Wow.exe` must be version 3.3.5.12340 (Windows: right-click > Properties > Details; Linux: `strings -el Wow.exe | grep -A1 FileVersion` prints `3, 3, 5, 12340`). What the kit installer does (do this by hand if you cannot run it): 1. Write `Data//realmlist.wtf` with exactly: set realmlist wow.olibuijr.com set patchlist wow.olibuijr.com 2. Delete any `SET realmList`, `SET realmName` or `SET portal` line in `WTF/Config.wtf`. 3. Delete the `Cache/` folder. ## CachyOS (and Arch, Manjaro, EndeavourOS) 1. Install Wine and helpers (CachyOS ships them in its repos; 32-bit libs come from multilib): sudo pacman -S --needed wine wine-mono wine-gecko winetricks lib32-vulkan-icd-loader unzip GPU drivers, 32-bit side: - NVIDIA: sudo pacman -S --needed lib32-nvidia-utils - AMD/Intel: sudo pacman -S --needed lib32-mesa lib32-vulkan-radeon (Intel: lib32-vulkan-intel) On CachyOS, `wine-cachyos` works too (sudo pacman -S wine-cachyos). 2. Get the kit and install it into your client: cd ~/Downloads curl -fLO https://wow.olibuijr.com/downloads/wow-olibuijr-client-kit.zip unzip -o wow-olibuijr-client-kit.zip -d wow-olibuijr-kit ~/Downloads/wow-olibuijr-kit/install-linux.sh "$HOME/Games/World of Warcraft 3.3.5a" 3. Play: ~/Downloads/wow-olibuijr-kit/play-olibuijr.sh (uses the Wine prefix ~/.local/share/wineprefixes/wow335; set WINEPREFIX before step 2 to change it) 4. Optional, better performance: DXVK in the prefix, then run with the D3D9 renderer: WINEPREFIX=~/.local/share/wineprefixes/wow335 winetricks -q dxvk Add `SET gxApi "d3d9"` to `WTF/Config.wtf`. ## Other Linux Install Wine (with 32-bit support), unzip and curl, then follow the CachyOS steps 2-4. - Debian / Ubuntu / Mint / Pop!_OS: sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386 && sudo apt update sudo apt install wine wine32 wine64 winetricks unzip curl - Fedora: sudo dnf install wine winetricks unzip curl - openSUSE: sudo zypper install wine winetricks unzip curl - No root, or prefer a GUI: install Lutris or Bottles (Flatpak), add `Wow.exe` as a Windows game, run install-linux.sh against the same folder, and launch from there. - Steam Deck / SteamOS: add `Wow.exe` as a non-Steam game, force Proton in its Compatibility settings, and run install-linux.sh against the folder in Desktop Mode. ## Wayland notes (Hyprland, GNOME, KDE) The client runs through XWayland. Exclusive fullscreen often draws only into the top-left corner. Use borderless fullscreen instead. In `WTF/Config.wtf`: SET gxWindow "1" SET gxMaximize "1" SET gxResolution "" On Hyprland, make the window fullscreen with your fullscreen keybind (or a window rule). ## macOS Wow.exe is a Windows program, so it needs a compatibility layer. - Apple Silicon (M1 and later): CrossOver (paid, easiest) or Whisky (free). Create a Windows 10 bottle, put the client folder inside or next to it, and add `Wow.exe` as a program. - Intel Macs: CrossOver, or Wine from Homebrew: brew install --cask --no-quarantine wine-stable Install the kit (Terminal): cd ~/Downloads curl -fLO https://wow.olibuijr.com/downloads/wow-olibuijr-client-kit.zip unzip -o wow-olibuijr-client-kit.zip -d wow-olibuijr-kit ~/Downloads/wow-olibuijr-kit/install-macos.sh "/path/to/World of Warcraft 3.3.5a" If macOS blocks the script: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine ~/Downloads/wow-olibuijr-kit Then start `Wow.exe` from CrossOver/Whisky (or with Homebrew Wine: ~/Downloads/wow-olibuijr-kit/play-olibuijr.sh). ## Windows (10/11) 1. Download https://wow.olibuijr.com/downloads/wow-olibuijr-client-kit.zip and extract it (right-click > Extract All). 2. Double-click `install-windows.bat` and select your World of Warcraft 3.3.5a folder (or run: install-windows.bat "C:\Games\World of Warcraft 3.3.5a"). 3. Start `Wow.exe` directly, NOT Launcher.exe (the launcher tries to patch to a newer version). If SmartScreen warns about the .bat file: More info > Run anyway. If the client is under C:\Program Files, move it (for example to C:\Games\) to avoid permission problems. ## Log in Enter the username and password from the admin (the field may say "Battle.net Account Name"; type the plain username), pick realm "AzerothCore", create a character. ## Troubleshooting - "Unable to connect": check realmlist.wtf says `set realmlist wow.olibuijr.com`, and that TCP 3724 is not blocked (test: `nc -vz wow.olibuijr.com 3724`, Windows PowerShell: `Test-NetConnection wow.olibuijr.com -Port 3724`). - Stuck after picking the realm: TCP 8085 is blocked by your network. - "Wrong version" / patching prompt: the client is not 12340. Use a 3.3.5a client. - Game shows only the top-left corner on Linux: see the Wayland notes. - Login works but the client closes: delete `Cache/` and `WTF/Config.wtf` and try again. ## Links - Site: https://wow.olibuijr.com/ - Kit: https://wow.olibuijr.com/downloads/wow-olibuijr-client-kit.zip - Android streaming app: https://wow.olibuijr.com/downloads/wow-olibuijr.apk - Server repo (owner only): ~/Projects/wow-private on titan (`./build.sh`, skill `wow-private`)
